Utilizing patented MEMS production technology,
the Panasonic Acceleration Sensors are available with a built in ASIC
chip, or as an elemental type, and can be used to detect tilt and vibration
in addition to rapid acceleration.
1-Axis GS1 features high precision and
high sensitivity with ±5% overall accuracy and 1 V/g detection
sensitivity. The GS1 is made with a capacitive MEMS sensor chip in a
compact package - 6.2(L) x 8.5(H) x 1.6(H) mm (typ.). The G-Sensor is
used for inclination detection, vibration detection and vibration monitoring,
making it ideal for car navigation systems and LCD projectors (trapezoidal
compensation).
3-Axis GS3 features ultra-compact size
- 4.6(L) x 4.6(W) x 1.3(H) mm (typ.), and excellent anti-shock properties
(5,000 g). The GS3 is made with a Piezo MEMS sensor chip and has three
piezo bridges which enables it to detect X, Y, and Z-axis acceleration
separately. The GS3 is used in compensation for GPS.systems and can
be paired with gyroscopic compass elements such as those offered by
Asahi. |
